Stayed at this site with full facilities for a week whilst our friends were on a rally further up the road. The pitches were quite spacious and although the site is only small the washroom facilities were excellent. There is a bus stop directly outside to Wakefield and you can walk through a field to get to Pugney's country park which saves you walking along the roadside. The weather was dreadful for our week's stay and we were grateful for full facilities on hard standing. There were a few attractions including the Sculpture Park which we didn't visit due to the weather and would definitely return to this site in the future. We paid £16 per night for a week's stay which was excellent value for money.

Excellent well worth a visit .My husband and I and our three little Shitzus dogs have just come back from a wonderful week at Broadlands camp site..The site is very well run and very clean. We loved how friendly all the staff were on the site .The hedges between each plot made for a very private space for each unit .The plots are a nice size with hard standing. We were able to use our Awning on our camper van at no extra cost .We will certainly be coming back for further visits .We would score Broadlands 10 out of 10 all round.

This is probably the best CL that my wife and I have stayed on. The facilities are first class and much more than we expected.Ease of entry,Security and peace and quite, what more do we want. Close to M1, Supermarkets, Local attractions, we will definately be back next time travelling North.

Excellent site

This was our 4th stay at this lovely campsite and we have already booked the next one. The toilet and shower block are immaculate and include piped music. The Asda superstore is a 10 minute walk away. The water park is a 10 minute walk away in the opposite direction. There is a lovely pub 15 minutes walk away. There is a bus stop directly outside the campsite which can take you into Wakefield. The owners are very helpful, even offered to help get our caravan on its pitch. All the pitches are hardstanding, and even better its adults only. Thank you yet again for another lovely stay.

Excellent site with good facilities.

This site has the best showers that we have ever encountered on a camp site - definitely hotel standard! It would be an ideal spot to stay on a journey to the north or Scotland as there are so many things to see and do in the locality. It has also the benefit of being an adults only site. As mentioned before there are lots of things to do and a good country park and watersports area just over the road from the park. An ASDA supermarket is within a 10 min walk. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is close by and the new Hepworth Gallery. Saltaire and the David Hockney Gallery is just 40 mins away. Yes - we are artists! The Bradford Media Museum and Keighthly and Worth Valley Railway are also about 40 mins away. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay and would recommend this site for visiting museums, although we also got out to the countryside for walks on the Pennine Way just as easily.
